Alabama Theatre

The Alabama Theatre does a tradiiton every year called "The Holiday Film Series".
They open the theatre up and play old and new christmas movies the entire month of December.
It is so much fun to go to. So me & a few friends from church
went on Saturday night & saw "White Christmas"
It was so much fun, this place is so beautiful.

One of my favorite things about their Christmas movie series is the man playing
the old organ at the beginning. Everyone sings Christmas carols together.
This was our view. (pic below)

This chandelier is one of the prettiest things in the theatre.

Me & some of the girls in the group.

Funny/awkward story: This man(whom looks like Santa Claus) sat behind us during
the movie. I wanted to get my picture with him the entire time but kept chickening out.
After the movie was over, we walked into the lobby and saw him sitting in this chair.
We just jumped to the conclusion that he was obviously the santa for the Alabama Theatre.
So considering the circumstances at this point...I ran over, jumped in his lap and started chatting
with him. I asked why he didn't have a line of people waiting to sit on
his lap. Turns out, he WASN'T the Santa for the Alabama Theatre. He was just a nice old
man who happened to look like Santa. He was only sitting in the chair while he
waited on his wife and daughter to use the restroom. Let's just say everyone
got a good laugh out of the situation. He was a good sport though. And his wife and daughter thought it was quite hilarious when they saw what had happened.
I hope you are all having a great holiday season.

To celebrate our 30th Anniversary next year, Randy and I along with some close friends from church took a cruise on the Oasis of the Seas. Not only is the largest ship in the world, but we were on a voyage that had the most individuals on a cruise ship ever departing from Ft. Lauderdale. It was filled to capacity with approximately 6,000 guests and 2,900 crew members. This ship was absolutely incredible to say the least.

First view of the ship as we pulled into Port Everglades

This photo has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the cruise. As we were leaving the port
in Ft. Lauderdale, this home was along the banks of the bay and for some reason it made
me think of Brett & Kelsey. Just looked like something they might live in.
I just thought it was beautiful!

This was our room which had a balcony overlooking the ocean.

View from top of ship. To the left the putt-putt course
and to the right is the basketball goal.
The two blue squares in the front were two flow riders.

First nights show was the Broadway Musical "Hairspray"
one word "AMAZING"
OMG - IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD!!

Dinner

Central Park

1st Stop was Labadee, Haiti

Aqua Show with one of two Rock Climbing Walls n the background.

2nd Stop - Falmouth, Jamaica.
Photo is Montego Bay.

Somebody in Jamaica had way too much time on their hands
and all they could find to do is dress up a horse.

I just thought Bethany would love this house in Jamaica. It's GREEN!!!

Randy and Micah atop the floating wall in Cozumel.

All of the decorations aboard the ship were just beautiful.
This is a picture of us in front of a huge Christmas Tree
that was located on the Promenade Deck.

Happy Anniversary to the love of my life.
