Spring Break in Chicago

Brett and I had such a great time in Chicago during our break. It was nice to have some time off and be able to spend time with each other. Here are a few pictures from our trip...

Sunday Afternoon!

Brett & Kelsey met us after church today before they headed back to Greensboro & Auburn. We also got to see Lisa & Kaitlyn (which was a nice surprise)!

I've had FINALLY joined the ranks of an official Mac user~~ WooHoo!  My sweet husband was going to get it for me for Valentine's Day but Brett did not have everything loaded on it yet.  Since Brett got to come home this weekend he brought it and was able to complete it before he left.  Thank you my love for my Mac and thank you Brett for getting it all ready for me and teaching me shortcuts and how to do all kind of amazing things.  Annnnnndd, thank you Bethany in advance because I am sure I will be asking you all kinds of questions that I don't know the answers to - YET!

And after all that snow...

snow & crepes

this past weekend i went to greensboro to visit brett & kelsey. friday night i cooked dinner & then we went to the pinkPARTY. it was alot of fun. Saturday morning we woke up and went to eat at Mustang Oil. It was good, even without the doughnuts:[ After we finished eating we went to Lions Park to look at Brett's thesis project. It was really neat, he is doing a really good job. After we left there we drove to Tuscaloosa to visit Grant & Brooke. We all played scrabble and ate delicious banana pudding.[thanks g&b for entertaining us]  That night we drove home and cooked pork fried rice. Then, sunday morning we woke up to a winter wonderland. it was beautiful. We got up and enjoyed the snow a little and then we made crepes. They were so good. Thanks B&K for such a great weekend.
